Description

Farmina N&D Quinoa Urinary Duck offers adult cats targeted dietary nutrition without sacrificing mealtime enjoyment. Boneless duck and dehydrated duck protein together account for 40% of the recipe, complemented by egg, herring, and fish oil. This combination provides a rich flavor and a nutritional profile composed of 94% animal protein.

Its formulation is designed to reduce the recurrence of struvite stones. These mineral crystals can form in the bladder, clump together, and cause urinary discomfort. The presence of ammonium chloride and DL-methionine gives the food acidifying properties, making the urinary environment less favorable for their reappearance.

Quinoa, included at 8%, replaces cereals and provides a different plant source in this recipe. Dried cranberry and chamomile, each present at 2.5%, complete the formula and give it a more elaborate composition than traditional dietary foods.

The recipe also prioritizes digestive comfort. Psyllium fibers absorb water and help form regular stools. Fructooligosaccharides and yeast extracts, sources of mannan-oligosaccharides, are prebiotic components that nourish beneficial bacteria in the intestinal flora. Aloe vera completes this plant combination, while glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, naturally linked to cartilage structure, enrich the food's nutritional profile.

Grain-free and without artificial preservatives, these kibbles combine a composition rich in animal ingredients with a specific nutritional function. They are intended for adult cats needing lower urinary tract support and should be used after veterinary advice, initially for a period of up to six months.
